13.07.2020 Rosseti FGC UES begins the final phase of the transformation of the Noginsk 500 kV substation – key link in Moscow`s energy ring Before the end of 2022, Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) will complete the installation of major equipment, including power transformers with a total capacity of 700 MVA, in the third phase of the complete modernization of the Noginsk 500 kV substation, the main performance centre for the eastern part of the Moscow metropolitan area. If previous work is taken into account, the substation`s capacity will more than double: from 1050 to 2200 MVA. The project will improve the reliability of the capital`s energy system and promote other conditions for the development of The Moscow suburbs. The total volume of investments of Rosseti FGC UES amounts to 13.7 billion rubles. 24.12.2018 Testing of an integrated digital monitoring system is being launched on the northernst power line in western Siberia The experimental project is being carried out on the 110 kV Olenia power line – the Yamburg power line of the FGC UES, which supplies the energy supply to consumers in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, including The Gazprom facilities. The integrated digital system allows the reference measurement of the different parameters of the high voltage line and a quick decision-making when needed. The system operates in test mode as part of the “Development of an Action Plan to Reduce the Rate of Power Line Accidents in Engineering, Geological, Weather, and Permafrost Conditions of Western Siberia and the Extreme North.” 12/10/2010 JSC FGC UES and Alstom Grid signed a scientific and technical cooperation agreement on 9 December: JSC FGC UES and Alstom Grid signed an agreement for scientific and technical cooperation in the field of electric energy. The document was signed at the meeting of the Bilateral Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation and Scientific and Technical Cooperation held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the heads of government of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and François Fillon. The agreement was signed by Mr. Oleg Budargin, Chairman of the Board of the Federal Grid Company, and Mr. Gerhard Seyrling, Senior Vice President Innovation – Performance Improvement of Alstom Grid.

The document is a logical extension of the complex cooperation agreement between the two companies, signed above, and defines the relationship between the parties in the field of scientific research and the implementation of innovative technologies. 30.09.2010 JSC FGC UES has successfully tested a unique JSC FGC UES Branch (South Backbone Electric Grids (MES) fusion system – a unique enamel fusion system installed in the 500 kV Kubanskaya substation (Krasnodar Territory).
