The Lower Thames Crossing project consists of three main plant packages and therefore includes a series of contractual interfaces that are much higher than other Highways England projects. We need an important integration role to complete the project and manage a complex supply chain. Highways England is looking for an integration partner to help us manage contractual interfaces. The integration partner will provide a wide range of project management services and programs to support our project and contract management teams and implement and manage day-to-day management processes. As part of an integrated client team, the integration partner will provide high-quality data analytics and experience-based decision-making. There will be an eight-year base period during which the work can be put in place, with an optional extension period of 1 year- to 1 year, which will be in place during the base period, including support from Von Highways England operating management during the first operation of the Lower Thames Crossing. The cost estimate of GBP 242,000,000 is the expected value of the contract and includes: 1) systems and processes, phase-specific services, basic services and the mobilization phase; 2) Optional services that can be ordered by Highways England during the contract; 3) Optional renewal (1-1) that may order Highways England to support the first operation of the Lower Thames Crossing; 4) Provision for inflation at 1-3 above. Please note that only the above article 1 is charged as part of the return of the tender. Based on estimates, the Authority estimates that the total amount (as shown in the IFT summary of prices) will be between GBP 150,000 and GBP 175,000.000. The contract is based on an amended NEC4 professional service contract (January 2019) and the im-frames of the contract are in six phases, one mobilization phase and five delivery phases.
